POE-EX01, 1 Channel Fast PoE Extender
The POE-EX01 from Benchu Group is an innovative device designed to extend the reach of both Ethernet data and IEEE 802.3at/802.3af Power over Ethernet (PoE) beyond the standard 100m (328 ft.) limitation of CAT. 5/5e/6 UTP cables, allowing for a maximum distance of up to 500m. As PoE-enabled devices like IP cameras, wireless access points, and IP phones become increasingly popular due to their ease of installation without needing separate power supplies, the traditional 100-meter cable limit poses a challenge. The POE-EX01 acts as a repeater, effectively doubling or tripling the distance that PoE can be delivered without the need for additional power sources or complex setup. By simply plugging in and daisy-chaining multiple POE-EX01 units, users can extend their PoE network to 200m, 300m, 400m, or even 500m, offering unparalleled flexibility for network deployments that require long-distance connections.
